Jay-Z Finalizing Book Deal

Jay-Z is reportedly close to wrapping up a book deal with Random House's imprint Spiegel & Grau. According to The New York Observer, Jay-Z and Spiegel & Grau are working on releasing a book in which the Brooklyn rap mogul will comment on and tell the stories behind his lyrics. Lil Wayne Sued For Sleeping On The Job

Lil Wayne is being sued for failing to perform at a Bahamas concert last year which he missed because he had passed out. Jay-Z Tops Forbes 2009 'Hip Hop Cash King' List

Forbes unleashed its "Hip Hop Cash Kings" list today (July 9) and Jay-Z is sitting pretty at No. 1 with $35 million in earnings from the past 12 months. Jay-Z reeled in his money from his 10 year deal with Live Nation, an international tour and his stakes in the New Jersey Nets and 40/40 Club. Sean “Diddy” Combs came in at No. 2 on the list with $30 Million. Diddy  raked in his dough from Sean John, his two reality-TV shows (Making The Band & Run's House), Bad Boy Records and Ciroc Vodka.
